I got up to go pee, I had no intentions of staying up, no intentions to do anything but scurry back to my cozy sleeping bag, cuddle in next to Dan, and enjoy our last morning on Opeongo by sleeping in. That is until I saw this.
Dawn was breaking, the lake was flat cam and the mist rising from it was utterly breathtaking. I no longer felt the cold, damp morning. I was consumed with awe. This is why we go camping, why we leave it all behind and travel to far off place.
To see such beauty, to feel such peace, to be overwhelmed by nature.
I am inspired.
