One of my favorite things about a hot, sunny, summer day is when you come in from playing outside & I see your freckles more clearly. It reminds me of my own childhood. I remember trying to count my freckles until I realized I couldn't count that high. I wonder which of my freckles showed up first. You're a lucky boy, we know which of all your freckles showed up first. It's on the middle knuckle of your right hand. It showed up sometime in your first year. We would ask you, "Where's your freckle?" and you'd search both hands until you found it. Since then you've accumulated quite a collection of freckles. And I'm sure many more will be added!!!!
