Techniques:
Pleated Pocket Page:
I folded 4 inch strips of Rusty Pickle’s Family Stripes paper, alternating the direction of the stripes, taped them to together to form pockets and machine stitched. I then took strips of the Cinnaburst paper and applied them to the edge of each pocket to highlight the edge.
Roadtrip paper
I designed the “Roadtrip” Paper and printed it on Rusty Pickle’s Baby Ivory Paper to coordinate. Love that paper! May have to use it for all my ‘white’ backgrounds for printing paper I design. The distressing on it just blends so well with my own!!!
Mini File Folder:
I thought the beach house blue file folder would coordinate with the layout, but it really didn’t and since I couldn’t return it and my LSS didn’t have any others to choose from, I decided to embellish it to match ;) I embellished it with Rusty Pickle’s Family Stripes cut into 1” squares, inked, and rotated; a strip of We R Memory Keepers: Cinnaburst (flowers), inked, and painted edges; circle from my roadtrip paper design; and painted with white, brown and blue paints. Roadtrip circle printed on Rusty Pickle’s Baby Ivory Paper, cut out, inked and painted. And held it all together with the Rusty Pickle “R” button.
