This is my youngest son Benjamin. He's 17 now. The photo at the bottom right is of one of his more recent drawings. The original is about four times as big. When he saw me doing this page, he told me that the drawing wasn't even finished and besides it was just doodling!!! LOL! Oh, well... I thought it looked pretty cool anyway. The journaling is on the signature card sticking out of the top of his pic. He signs his drawings eli k. I tried to incorporate some of the designs from his drawing into my layout - then had to get him to help. He added the "doodling on the black curved strip and did the signature card. I drew the title by hand and then cut it out with an x-acto. The keys of the piano are chalked and inked.

When his Aunt Susan (sgoetter) asked him what the drawing "meant", he said "Nothing". LOL! The quote on the black strip says: "Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures." by Henry Ward Beecher
