My dgd and her kindergarten teacher at the end of 07, her teacher had all of the students give this poem and a flower to each of the parents, after she had read this poem. Not a dry eyes to be seen!
I wanted to try a new technique that I saw in Bettylous gallery, chipboard flower covered with tissue paper and decoupage, love that, thanks so much Betty. also used pps from scenic route Appleton collection, Bazzills textured cardstock, chipboard from Fancy pants biggest chipboard, flowers:, rub-ons from color-box, flowers from prima got flowers brights:, Zig 2-way glue pen, zots and hand draw doodles.
I've worked with your flower,
And helped it to grow.
I'm returning it now,
But I want you to know...
This flower is precious,
As dear as can be,
Love it...take care of it
And you will see,
A bright new bloom,
with everyday...
It grows in such a special way.
In August...a bud,
Midterm...a bloom:
Now a lovely blossem
Comes home to you in June.
Remember this flower
As dear as can be,
Though rightfully your...
Part...belongs to me!
