Neat. I scrapped an old church I visited in Maine but hadn't thought of scrapping my own church. (I know yours was a visit but just made me think why not do my own church.) Another lovely lo.
Simply beautiful!!! Those DD's papers are perfect with the pics! Great job using the distressing tool and I love how you added the stitching! Love the swirls and the way you cut the pp! Great idea to include the picture of the plaque! Wonderful work!
Love both of the papers, and repeating that paper on the swirl is just wonderful!! All of the stitching looks great, and all of those things together make this an amazingly beautiful page.
Awesome job with the distressing tool!!! LOVE the papers...and I love that "thingy" at the top on the swirl...swirl looks great too! I don't think I 've noticed that church before...might have to check it out! Gorgeous layout (love that DD paper!!) Faves!
This is Sarah on a recent photo shoot in Demopolis, Alabama. As my niece was riding us through the town we spotted this old church (built in 1870). We just had to stop and get some pics.
The swirls were made using Fancy Pants cb flourishes as patterns - then handcut and inked. This was my first time using the distressing tool - FUN!!!! TFL!!!
