Journaling reads: This photo was taken by me. It was our trip to Europe with my grandfather in 1977. Here, at my great-grandmother's house in Neumunster, West Germany, marked the first time me, my mother, and my sister met Oma Wulf. She had visited America once when my father was a boy, and that was the only other time he had met her. This visit was to be the last time we would see her before her death a couple of years later. How nice that Oma was able to have met her American great-grandchildren. Ana Wulf: my great grandmother. This photo was taken by my father in 1977. She was over 90 years old. How lucky I was to have been able to meet her. I was 10 years old. I remember her apartment, a quaint little place, in a small German town, a quintessential old-world place. I'm soproud of my German heritage.
