This album was so easy to construct. It holds the photos from the First Annual Scrapbook.com Cupcake Day. I used patterned papers from the BasicGrey "Two Scoops" Collection on the pages; securing them with UHU glue stick. When a brayer is used to roll down the papers they stay strongly glued to the chipboard. "Two Scoops" papers and embellishments are all coordinated and gave me plenty of color and pattern options. Hot Tip: The patterns are so amazing and complete they don't need a lot of embellishments.
I trimming the scalloped Tinkering Ink Banner edges with my Fiskars Fingertip Control Craft Knife (love it) and sanded any rough edges with BasicGrey Precision Files.
The cupcake paper on the front cover (see image after the banner images) is from the paper pack packaging (this sheet has mini images of the pieces of the pattered papers included in the kit). I simply cut it apart and glued it to the front; simple.
The "C" is a mini version of a BasicGrey undressed chipboard "c". I used the original letter as a pattern and made a new, smaller letter that fits perfectly inside the circle opening.
The green candle paper came from one of the border sticker strips. Sprinkles are adhesive backed pearls.
