The Mel Moose was a popular statue when North York Mayor Mel Lastman became mayor of the newly amalgamated city of Toronto. Hundreds of these statues were displayed throughout Toronto each one was decorated differently. The meese later went up for auction with the proceeds going to a charity. This one is located in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre building. There are few meese still on display, but where they are in this huge city I don't know. If you know where one is, located please send me a message.
