A moment of Serenity

I just completed this page. The journaling reads:
As the sun came up on a beautiful May morning, Leif took a picture of the dawn as it danced across the water. Looking at this picture, I am remindedof our hopes and dreams. We had just found out about Connor, and we had begun planning the future. Little did we know in this serene moment how much things would change and where we would be today. We have been blessed beyond compare with the birth of Connor and our lives are full of happiness and joy. Looking at this picture, I am reminded of choices we made and what still lies ahead.

For the title, I used Microsoft Word and inserted text boxes on top of one another. I printed it out on pp and sanded the edges. I stapled ribbon to one edge. The paint chip has "Live, Love, Laugh, Learn" Stamped on it with alpha stamps. I used 2 leather frames, and altered a slide mount for the bottom. Inside of these are the words Past Present and Future written over blue acrylic paint. I also inked and dry brushed paint on the page.
