What a treasure this photo is, and you have increased its value with this lovely LO! That circlet of lace is just so delicate and pretty and the floral arrangement gorgeous!
WOW !!!!!!! What a beautiful creation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That old photo is quite a treasure & you've definately done it justice with this design !!! LOVE it !!!
This is the only photo I have of my father's parents - James Bernard and Effie Pearl Long Perdue. As nearly as we can figure, it was probably a wedding photo and dates sometime between 1900-1910.
The pink lace is some really old lace that my mother gave me. There is a circle of tulle behind the photo, but I nearly covered up the whole thing! LOL! The flowers (from the $ store) are inked on the edges. The pearl brads are from the wedding dept. at Michael's. The asst pearl embellies are left over from making things (veils, etc) in the past. Tthe edges of the pp are cut with scallop scissors and inked or torn and chalked. TFL!!!
