Sweet Potato

Here is my oldest playing with his Mr. Potato Head. He loves to wear the hat and glasses, as I think all kids do. I used a blue plaid paper that match his shorts. After I cut the letters out from a template, I realized it was hard to read, so I added vellum and glued the letters on that (I wasn't about to throw those suckers away.) LibbyJo was nice enough to send me some stuff, and the round clip is from her (thanks, Libby!)

The journaling reads:
You love playing with your Mr. Potato Head. You have fun putting his face together, but your favorite part is putting "his" face on yours. You like to wear his hat and his glasses. You are so silly, and you cease to amaze me at how creative you are! 6-17-03 2 1/2 yrs.
