Journaling reads,
"Last year, I fell and broke my ankle. After I was home recovering, I had to be raced back in an ambulance where the doctors discovered my lungs had filled with pulmonary embolisms. While my lungs were being treated, they did a CAT scan of my abdomen and found a 10 pound tumor in my stomach. They had to perform surgery and remove it. It was a rare form of cancer known as a liposarcoma. After several weeks of recovery, I was home.
I would go up the stairs at night and down in the morning on my bottom dragging this big heavy boot and holding a pillow to my stomach. What an ordeal!
I was so blessed to have my parents, my sisters, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law all come and help me.
I was also so blessed to have so many friends and relatives help in many many ways!
Now, one year later, I can wear my new sneakers comfortably and almost run after my beautiful daughter!
