I like the clean lines of your page. It allows it to stand quietly and allows for reflection on who the page is about. I like the bookplate and the vellum on the bottom! I wish I knew how to do that!
This is a lovely layout! Good color combination.
I think the only thing I can think of to suggest is to make the vellum in the wordplate at the bottom whiter so the words stand out more, but it's wonderful and classic the way it is.

This is a memorial page to my father who passed away in a tragic accident 3 years ago. I am not sure about it. I am having a hard time and would appreciate any advice.
