I used 3 different sports pictures of my daughter for this layout. I had a lot of fun playing with the color effect in Photoshop. The journaling is on the pink tag hidden behind the photos and reads as follows:
Sarah you have surprised me by your interest in sports. You've never really been the athletic type. When you were younger you tried soccer & softball but didn't like either one. Even when you did “Hot Shots” basketball in 6th grade, you didn't seem too enthused. I had come to the conclusion that you would just be a little bookworm.
But than you really surprised me at the start of 7th grade when you wanted to play volleyball & you talked about how much you liked it. What surprised me the most is when you joined the track team. I think you did it mostly for your friends but I admired you for sticking to it.
I know I wasn't able to be at every game & event but I loved watching you every minute I could. I hope my cheering didn't embarrass you too much. I was just so proud of you & couldn't help myself. I can't wait to watch you play again next year.
