Making Chocolates

My family has a Christmas tradition of making/exchanging cookies and making chocolates. This LO is dedicated to making chocolates.

Every year we come up with something new. Last Christmas, when these photos were taken, Maria, an old family friend, combined three cashews, melted caramel, and melted chocolate to make turtles.

We also made chocolate covered pretzels in white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate, peanut butter cups, and pretzel pops (pretzel rods dipped in chocolate). We decorate boxes to put the chocolates in and then give them away. The perfect homemade gift! Not to mention the perfect female get together which usually includes making Christmas cut-out sugar cookies, exchanging cookies and little gifts, and mudslides!!
