Journaling reads: As an avid shopper, I know a great deal when I see one, and as any other skillfull shopper will tell you, "you sure can't pass up a good deal when you see one!" So one day while shopping at a yard sale, I happened to come across an old school desk at a price of a mere two dollars. I can remember thinking to myself,"Wow I have always wanted one of these, and as for that price, well you sure can't beat it!" What a bargain! I just had to have it. So naturally, being the great shopper I am, I purchased the desk. But wait, the story gets even better. I was even more thrilled when they threw in a second chair at no extra cost! Upon getting the desk home, I was looking at it and began to think to myself, "Now why in the world did I need this thing? Didn't I already have enough junk that I didn't use or need?" Even now as I am sitting here writting this, I still don't have an answer to these questions. I have always wanted a desk like this and I don't even know why, and they sure don't make them like this anymore. So now that I finally have one of my own, I guess I will clean it up and maybe repaint it's old chipping paint. I will probably let Jaden and Alyssa use it do their school work or just mess around with it. Jaden who was just as thrilled to get it, if not more, may someday own it. And who knows, maybe someday, his children, my grandchildren, will use it. Any maybe, they will share the same enthusiam Jaden and I once had.
