My dear Gram was killed in a car accident in 1998. It was 10 years this summer, and my family and I still miss her every day. It was a huge loss in our lives, and we talk about her a lot, to keep her memory alive. Since I've been playing with my Cricut and my new paperdolls cartridge, my sister challenged me to make a paperdoll of our Gram. Here is what I came up with. Our Gram wore a brace on her leg, so that is what the little silver thing is on her right shoe, and she used to always put a zipper on the bottom of her pantleg, so she could get it down over the brace. So the little line is the "zipper". She only wore solid color cotton pants, and floral print button up cotton shirts. She was soooooo cute! She had grey/blonde curly hair, and her purse was never far from her. This is my favorite doll. I put a magnet on her and she's on my fridge, too!
