I wasn't going to post this because it isn't finished- until I saw the LO titled "In the arms of an angel". My grandma, to me is a woman of vision- someone to admire and look up to. She was so strong: beat cancer (but had a radical double mastectomy during the process), succumbed to dementia two years ago, and lived stubbornly on through other various illnesses and scares until she passed away this past July. We all miss her terribly, but to us, she's still the strongest woman we know!
Obviously, I am missing some letters in the word "vision". The empty box at the bottom of the page may contain journalling, too. I haven't decided, yet.
The poem on the bottom right reads, "Count your garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall; Count your days by the golden hours; don't remember clouds at all. Count your nights by stars, not shadows. Count your years with smiles, not tears. Count your blessings, not your troubles. Count your age by friends, not years! This was printed in the program at her funeral.
