SHCG: These are so fabulous. I adore your ability to squeeze so much into such a small space. Brendify? Hmmmmm. Perhaps adding an inchie that has a streaker at a sporting event. That sounds a little more like you.
SHCG: To Brendify these? Hmmmm maybe some inking? Maybe a "wtf??" hehehehehe I like that you were able to reach beyond your comfort zone. I would have liked to recieve these because these could have fit onto a sports page for the hubby or the grandson as a nice embellie. Awesome Bren!
SHCG: How would you Brendify these? First off, I have to say these are "Brendified". When I see these inchies I know they're yours because you have a certain style and these show your style. To me they're just more simple then your other inchies.
Would you have wanted to be a recipient of a set of these inchies? Yes!
What do you suggest would give these more oomph? Add more embellishments, like on the basketball ones you could put some netting as the background, on the baseball ones, you could have added a baseball embellie and inking the edges.
shcg: the first thing i thought of was how clean these looked. they could be a little grungy or have a warn look to them. otherwise they are great! i don't get into sports much. got burned out when my three boys were growing up! however i love the theme and the wording on each to match the representing balls.
SHCG - These are adorable Brenda! I love the label-maker labels & the clever use of old pp & stickers (at first I thought wow, she's hoarding a whole mess of sports punches? that's news). Anyway, you asked in the thread how to Brendify these & I'm not sure how to, or if it's even needed. Maybe some doodling around the balls (heh) that simulates movement/bouncing? Or perhaps some inking, to "dirty" up the playing field?
These inchies are for the Sports category of Valerie's (valechula) round 2 Inchie Mania swap. Each participant in this category will receive a row of four inchies. (I made a set for myself, as well.) The inchies read: Touchdown! Goal! Score! Homerun!
The grass, basketball, and basketball court pps are from a very old Paper Pizazz pp book, and the football and soccer stickers are from a very old kit.
