He looks so grown up in that pic and OMG about learning to count in German!! I know the German alphabet! hehehe I should really teach my kids since they are 75% German too. ;)
I've been wanting to scrapbook this for a couple of months, but wasn't sure how to do it. I just loved the richness of this background from Kami's new Fall kit and then the design just kind of came to me. TFL!
Journaling: I knew you had been practicing counting in English, but I had no idea your dad was teaching you how to count in German. The first time I heard you count to 10 in German you weren’t even two and a half! I was so shocked and so impressed. Now you can even count to 20 in both languages. Your dad’s family is from a small town in Germany called Mockmuhl. He always said he wanted you to learn German as a second language. It’s so cool to hear you picking up counting, as well as some other words, in German to honor your family roots.
