Created for the 2pg. LO Challenge

LO is of the orginal Funks Grove Maple Sirup farm off of Old Route 66 in Shirley, Illinois.

On the left hand side I took a photo looking up at the Maple trees, lightened it up before printing and ran it through the printer a second time to add all the journaling. The journaling includes the history of Funks Grove and the Funk family; and the process of making pure maple sirup from sap.

I tore the inside of the frame to give it a "rough" feel around the journaling, added the Route 66 roadside marker and the Funks Grove directional sign.

The right side shows the guided tour that we participated in and the large arrow points to a couple of the maple sirup products!

Just FYI (because you are probably wondering)... They use the spelling "sirup" in conjunction with the thickening process of a liquid as opposed to "syrup" which would be the thickening process for fruit.
