I really can't say anything that hasn't already been said... everyone's used all the adjectives to describe this piece of art... Beautiful you, Beautiful embrace, Beautiful card... sheer elegance, and perfection :)
Oh Liz! This is incredible!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! What a great christmas card....I want to see all of your pictures!!! I am so happy for you! It just brings back such beautiful memories! There truly is something magical about a Maui wedding!! Many congratulations! :)
Oh WOW... WOWWWWW Liz... this photo is amazing!!! I love everything about this... the warm sepia tones, the deep red, the distressing, the brush work in the corners... sheer perfection!!! Can't wait to get this in my mailbox! :)
Liz, this is so beautiful that I just got goose bumps all over. This is sheer and absolute beauty. It leaves me speechless, it's just awesome. Totally awesome.
this is really beautiful, liz! you could maybe try a more scripty font...like porcelain or selfish...that might give it the holiday flair you're looking for! it's just gorgeous, tho! i love this photo of you two!!
LIZ..this is just STUNNING GIRL!!!! O M G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is gonna be one heckuva card for family and friends to get in the mail!!!!
This is awesome!! I'm so jealous of your wedding! But it looks like it turned out beautiful!! Amazing as always. Maybe your LOs will give me the inspiration I need to do a Hawaii wedding eventually! Thanks for sharing! And congratulations!
Beautiful picture! Welcome back Liz..and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS once again.
I think it looks great.. although I understand what you mean by lacking a holiday feel to it..but it still is GREAT. I thought at first this is a Thank You card. but again..I think this is wonderful!
Barefoot and beautiful, you guys make such a great couple. And your digi work is awesome. I should of figured your digital would be as beautiful as your paper!
Idea to note, I noticed your font color looks cool in contrast to the warm ecru. You may want to warm up, match, or darken the font color. (you can match the color by double clicking on the font color box and using the the eyedropper tool to 'sample' the ecru by clicking on that color. Also, I'm not sure that the typewritter font works with the delicateness of your layout. (I do like the 'Maui' on the side though) You may want to try a script font with more cursive flair and use it larger, overlaying it a bit on the bottom of the photo so it looks like 'brush' work''.
Tip: You can adjust the opacity of of your font, or any effect you apply in layers, by selecting the layer to be adjusted and clicking either the opacity or fill percentage in the upper right boxes of the layers window and changing the percentage down from 100%...
However, everyone loves this as is and I sure wouldn't complain if I received this in the mail.....congrats Liz....
Spectacular, girl! That is my fave pic, btw---I think it was the perfect choice!!! This is amazingly beautiful!!! You are so talented (and gorgeous, I might add!!)
OMG I love it as it is! I think the red gives it a holiday feel. This is such a classy holiday card!! Awesome as usual! I am loving your photos!Congrats again!
Liz, this is truly beautiful! Congratulations!!! I think it looks "finished" as it is...but if you feel it needs something more, what about a small green font on top w/"Mele Helekimaka" (you know what I mean!) or run with the "flower" theme of Maui and add a bloom??? Just love this pic. and always adore your work. Best of luck with a life filled with the love that you both now share!
I'm so excited. Now that I am a MRS. I finally get to send a photo greeting card. I created this digitally (thanks for the idea becky and emily, you're the BEST). Not sure I am completely happy with this. I think it's missing a holiday-ish element. What do you think? I need your help! Thanks for looking.
