wow, that's one hell of a costume!! And the LO is perfect for the occasion! Sounds like you are doing a great job, and no one could understand better than someone who has been through it!! Take care!
Great job! Love the cut out bg zombies! That was a very creative costume and you used it for a great cause! I'm so proud of you, for all you have accomplished and all you will continue to accomplish!
WOW!!!!! The work you put into making that crazily scary costume!!! That is so awesome! lol! And, on another note, thank you for the work you do for those on the road to recovery....
Ha! Hahahaha! You're too funny! Such a clever and creative costume (and one not EVERYONE would "get" I'm sure...but I love it). I like the story behind everything...that's fantastic you donated your prize money and even more fantastic about your recovery. Yay!
Disgustingly wonderful costume! And, kudos to you for your sobriety! My husband has been a recovering alcoholic since 1982 and I am proud of him and YOU! This organization sounds amazing. Is is just local or are there others across the nation? I would be interested in finding out.
your costume is sick...sick in a good way though..haha..very nice job on the makeup...and its a good thing you're doing.. i really admire that..:o)

Wow. You are totally amazing. Congrats on your winning as well as all the hard work you put into the program. We certainly need more people like you to reach out to others who are in need.
I am a member of a non-profit organization called the Triangle Club. I am on the Activities Committee in charge of offering an alternative to drugs and making sure that the membership increases in the various 12-step programs offered at our building.. The Triangle Club is an organization that provides a place for those sick and suffering from alcohol/drug abuse to come to and get the help they need as they travel the road to recovery. We like to show newbies that there are many fun things to do besides staying high on chemicals. These pics are an example of my costume worn at last years "Psycho Circle" haunted outdoor tour. It was a huge event and was a complete success. I was a pregnant zombie (I make all my costumes....second hand stores).I would ask all the men there if they were my "babydaddy". :D I won the 1st place costume contest and donated my prize money to help fund the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday events. TFL, from a grateful recovering alcoholic and addict (myself).... peace!
It is of my opinion that the scrariest part of this costume is the SHOULDER PADS!!! EEEEEKKKKKK! LOL!I pulled them so they would hang out of the dress.I painted my car tire blk/ and ran over the dress to make it look as though I had been run-over.I tore the dress, used earth tone spray paints to make it look dirty and the used acrylic red paint for the blood on the dress and on the leggings. I purchased a babydoll from the thrift store and cut the arms and legs off ...attached them to my "belly"(pillow) and applied my make-up and liquid "blood".Do zombies wear watches!!?? LOL!
I drew the zombie outline on blk cardstock and cut it out to add interest.I tinted the Harley-davidson orange and blk flame pp red in some areas to give it depth. I used chalk on the Circut "Stamped" font/ lettering to make the title less flat also. The bg moon paper is from a DCWV multipack.
