dd at our 3rd annual Boo at the Zoo extravaganza.
The journaling reads:
"Our annual trip to Boo at the Zoo started on a beautiful Autumn day. You were so excited to go to the zoo, not only to see the animals, but also to show them your princess dress. The trick or treating was also secondary to seeing your friend Samantha and Auntie Becky. Before Becky came to pick us up you were gracious enough to pose for several photos with your pumpkin. Truly a “royal treat” for me. Waiting in line at the zoo was NOT a treat, however we did survive. Once inside you ran from one animal exhibit to the next collecting candy and wishing the vendors a Happy Halloween- sometimes in a voice to quiet to hear. I was so proud that you took the time to say thank you, even if I was the only one who could hear you. At the bear cave we ran into Elizabeth. You were so excited to see that she was also a Princess. “Belle” you squealed and promptly grabbed her hand. There we had not one but three princesses. Of course I had to take a picture of you girls holding hands. Then in the middle of the path the three of you started to play “Ring Around the Rosy”. Whenever you came to the part where “we all fall down” the mom’s would shout “NO” and the Princess would burst into giggles. After the game, still holding hands, three princesses went running through the mud. I had to laugh out lout at the site of you in your fancy dress going right through the middle of the muck. You will always be my Princess with the dirty knees."
