Our last full day in Florida | My 35th birthday | The weather turned unusually cool, but it made the animals very active, bonus us.| First up, Pangani Forest Trail. Naked mole rats, gorillas, & exotic birds, oh yeah! | Then over to Kilimanjaro Safari which took us on an open-air safari expedition. Giraffes, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, elephants, ostriches, zebras, & crocodiles. All roaming freely, up close & personal. Breathtaking and wild. | The amazing “Flights of Wonder” bird show that we forced Trent to see. He ended up loving it the most.| Longest wait in a line anywhere. Forty minutes for lunch at Restaurantosaurus. | Next stop, Maharaja Jungle Trek. Komodo dragons, fruit bats, and tigers, oh my!|Fastpass for Russ & Trent at Expedition Everest. Super fast, Yeti surprising, roller coaster. Wild and breathtaking. |“Finding Nemo-The Musical” was one of the best live performances at Disney and a favorite of Addy's.| Trent braved another scary ride with Dad on Dinosaur, while Addy and I went on TriceraTop Spin.| Another hand-clapping, foot-stamping, character-loving parade. Complete with stilt walkers & walking puppets. |We all loved the “Festival of the Lion King,” a high-energy tribal celebration with music, dance, and of course Simba, Timon, & Pumbaa. What a great way to end the day.
