The altar is set up to honor the ancestors who have crossed over. The Samhain LO is lying flat in a page protector, behind it is a copy of a drawing of Carridwen, Goddess of Death and Rebirth, a 7-day white candle, and to the right of the candle is a cauldron (where we believe the souls go before reincarnating into another life). Draped over the table is a purple scarf with moons and starts, and over that is an orange scarf with moons and pentagrams. In the front on the floor is a black wire tree with skeletons on it, and to the right is a unicorn (who always lies in front of the fireplace).
***UPDATE: The Cerridwen card is in front of the cauldron (I have been lighting the candle) and to the left of the candle is a purple bud vase that I have a white and pink rose in (when they fade, I'll go to the local flower store and pick up some more--maybe red or dark colors).
