Journaling reads..
Jay practiced his teacher’s name and knew it well, Mrs. Alvanos. He was very excited about preschool. All of the children brought their favorite stuffed animal. Since Jay didn’t really have one, mommy picked one that would match his outfit and look cute for photos. When we got to school, Jay ran right over to the play kitchen and started cooking. I gave him a hug and a kiss, and said goodbye. He was too busy to notice. It is a good thing, because I was crying. He seemed like such a big boy and I had never left him before. Jay’s first day of school fell on the 1st anniversary of 9-11, so mommy was already emotional.
On his first day, Jay made a little mask that said I am special and had he seemed to have fun. After Thanksgiving, Jay started
to get anxious and only wanted
to go to school if I would stay.
I couldn’t bear to leave and hear
him crying, so we decided to wait
until the next year and try again.

these photos gave me fits trying to create a layout. It probably looks like a quick and easy, but it took FOREVER!
