I started doing redo's of my older heritage layouts since I do no like the old layouts a lot anymore (they were done in the first month or so that I started digiscrapping, just thought they needed some improvement).
This layout was done for a heritage challenge at scrapmommies.
journaling:
My paternal Great Great Grandmother Pietje Wilhelmina Bokkers-Van der Woude, who lived from 1855 to 1917. She gave birth to my Great Grandfather Gijsbertus Antonius Bokkers on October 23rd, 1876, in Abbenes, North-Holland.
Although Pietje lived centuries ago, and obviously we never met, we are very much alike. Whenever I look at her face, I can see myself. Therefor I do not only know she's my ancestor, but I can feel it too.
