finally, a l.o with my son wearing a hat!! i never though i'd see the day..haha.. but as you can see - that hat wasn't on for that long...
TECHNIQUES://
i stitched a flourish using black floss & an IN STITCHZ template, distressed and tore like a mad woman, layered mesh and 2 different shades of brown cardstock behind the pictures. i sprinkled flowers throughout and adhered some of my new chipboards. i also used some of my new stamps *the bird & butterflies and word *DREAM* which i LOVE!! i also used some MM tiny alphas under and above the pictures which reads: "GOING...GOING, OFF." I then used my dymo to write "the story" under the picture to the left and printed out my journaling, which reads:
"grandma bought this cute hat & i tried it on you - of course you looked absolutely adorable, but you wouldn't keep it on for the life of you. since you were born, i have always tried to put hats on you, but you hated them. it's such a shame because i adore how cute you look in them...but at least i was able to take a few pictures of you wearing one!!!"
