This lo is from my college graduation earlier this May, I actually finished in 2007 but I walked this spring. My friend and I decided to decorate our mortarboards to really make them special, and to help our family and friends find us out in the field.
I made this lo for 2 challenges one is the "Got Bling" Challenge and the other is the Use your supplies October Challenge week 2.
Techniques:
Balled up my journaling paper, used sand paper, and used pink ink.
Used a eyelet setter inside the glittered circle
Used transparency to make a clear ring to glue soda tabs on and glued green jems
Journaling reads:
My friend and I really wanted to express ourselves on our mortarboards at graduation. Looking back over all the things I've accomplished and gone through in college. I really felt like a “piece of cake” symbolized that if I can get through this, there's nothing that can stop me in my future endeavors.
