SHCG: O.M.G. I am so in love with this tin! I love everything about it and really, really, REALLY want a walkthrough on how to create one. I'd love to have one for myself, as well as my kids' teachers. This is fabulous and I wouldn't change a thing!
SHCG: I have got to do some altered projects!! I love the little cutout of the boy and girl. It's just right for all those "treasures" from your students!!
SHCG: This is a fabulous idea! Sharon best articulated my comments, but not my suggestions. I'm sure you'll soon realize that you'll need something much bigger, so when this fills up, I'd recommend finishing it off with maybe the school, room number, and time span. My only other suggestion is to upload a how-to to our blog. I want one!
SHCG - How did I miss this in the LO thread?? This is wonderful Chris! There's a cool retro yet simultaneously modern/edgy thing going on here, w/ the distressing & the school kids cut outs, I LOVE that! Great choice w/ those alpha stickers for the title. I see how Janet could see more stuff, like ribbon, as I could too, but this is incredible already. So much terrific stuff to look at here, a perfect house for your student-given keepsakes. Super!
SHCG: I love this tin! You did an awesome job altering it, I love the weathered look that you gave it! The boy and girl reminds me of those boy/girl charms people used to wear in the 70's, they're so cute! Great job :)
Created for a challenge. This tin will be used to house all of the trinkets (letters, cards, notes, etc.) I receive from my students. This is an old Cherry Mash tin.
