This was a shadow box I did for my husband's first long awaited Hole in One. It was extra special because he was playing with two of his kids that's why they are in the layout. It's hard to tell but the main photo is raised the highest as is the card signature, then the two kids are raised a little as well as various squares of the sky. I used cloud/sky paper, grass paper and a sandpaper paper I found to represent the three elements in golf. I then cut them into various sizes of squares, and aged the edges, overlapping them and putting some on foam squares for, to give it an optical look. I used the real ball he used. I cut a hole in the foam core board I used as backing and applied that thick sticky glue rope that comes on a roll of backing, it was hard to use, and you have to use lots of it to overcome the weight of the ball!
It took so long to get it on my gallery because I couldn't find the folder on the computer! Found it completely by accident yesterday! I guess I should start listing the materials I use, I usually just like to finish it and don't give much thought as to how I finally get there!
