A FAVE! LOVE ALL THE BUTTONS! YOU ARE THE THIRD PERSON I HAVE SEEN TONIGHT USING SO MANY BUTTONS! LOL..THAT'S IT! I'M BREAKING OUT MY BUTTONS TONIGHT! :p
Oh my, I remember having the same pink bathtub!!!!! Wow. I love how you used old with the new, and believe me buttons that come out of grandmas button box, are something special!!! I have many also. This is really pretty and I love the photo is is so stinkin adorable!!!
We lived in a very old house at that time, known as the Dooer house on Dooer Ave.My family moved in and totally refurbished it,as the last of the Dooers had died off.Mom & dad found all kinds of treasures in that house!A platform rocker, marbletop washstand,as well as other asst pieces of furniture.Five beautiful paintings done by a Bessie Dooer. An autograph book dated 1884,hatpins,antique buttons and lace.I used a bit of the lace in this L/O.It's just been stowed away in an old Whitman's box for years.I figured I should use it for something!I used both old and new buttons in this.I like to think that some of the tiny mother-of-pearl buttons found in Mom's button tin, came off some of my old baby clothes.Who knows, right?Hydrangea flowers are Prima brand.Love those things!Paper by Basic Grey's Stella Ruby collection. The only thing I was unhappy with, were the rub ons I layered up in the corner. They don't seem to adhere well to textured cardstock. Thanks so much for looking!
