Championship Game
Atlanta, Georgia
84-75
"Can't Win 'Em All"

About The Game

No Two Different Teams Could Be Playing In This Championship Match Up, First You Have Florida, Last Years National Champions Who Are Returning All Five Started From That Championship Team. Then You Have Ohio State, A Team Starting Two Freshman In Greg Oden And Mike Conley Jr. Who Will Most Likely Be Heading To The NBA Next Year. The Game Figured To Be Good And It Started Out As Predicted. For The First Ten Minutes Of The First Half The Game Went Back And Forth, The Only Difference Being Florida Hitting Several Key 3 Pointers. By Half Time Though Florida Had Pulled Ahead And Led Ohio State 40-29. Despite Greg Odens Scoring 11 Points And Grabbing 7 Rebounds. The 2nd Half Started Out With Ohio State Going On A 7-2 Run Which Cut The Deficit To 6 Points But They Never Got Any Closer Florida Put 3-4 Diffeent Defenders On Greg Oden, Tiring Him Out While Forcing The Buckeye Guards To Make Plays Which They Couldn't Consistently Do. And While Ohio State Wavered Florida Continued To Hustle And Score, Hitting Over 50% Of Their 3 Pointers, 49% Of Their Overall Shots, And 88% Of Their Free Throws, Along With Out Rebounding Ohio State 38-27. In The End, Florida Won 84-75, Cementing Themselves As One Of NCAA's Greatest Teams. With The First Back To Back National Championship Since 1992. Greg Oden's Brief Collegiate Career Saw Him Finish With 25 Points, 12 Rebounds And 4 Blocked Shots, While Mike Conley Chipped In 20 Points And 6 Assists.
