this is a lo of my son playing with the leaves at nana and peperes.
how i used each item:
gold wire: make number for 2005 and used as stems for leaves
gauze: used plain as scrarecrows head and tinted with ink for date background
4 fall leaves: put small on large to look like floating on page
raffia: used for cornstalk and for scarecrows hands and feet
corduroy: used to make scarecrow and the word fall
4 wiggle eyes: used on scarecrow and jack-o-lantern
pipe cleaners: used for scarecrows nose and mouth, also used to make scarecrows rake
lunch bag: scarecrows pants and jack-o-lanterns nose and smile
vellum: pumpkins, colored with chalk them placed on yellow cardstock
chalk: used to trace cut-out for scarecrow shirt and to add stitching around pictures
twine: used to tie and hold cornstalk and to tie around neck of scarecrow
4 puzzle pieces: tinted with ink then placed 2005 on top.
