LOL, I was thinking along the same line as Mosey. When I see one turning, I feel sorry for it thinking it's dying. And the year after, I do it all again. LOL
how neat, I've noticed our ponderosa trees do a similar thing around here.. (they don't turn completely) but I caught myself thinking again this year that they were dying and went to look, nope just dropping needles!)
These should be brighter but it was raining and this is the best I could do. If you don't know larch trees they are oddballs. They are pine trees(conifers) that turn yellow in the fall and drop their needles. Deciduous pines, strange huh?
