Journaling reads, "Exactly one week to go before your first birthday, Isaiah. Where did the time go? I've been planning your party for a while now; there is a pil of stuff on the counter for your special day. It seems like only yesterday that there was a pile of stuff waiting by the front door, ready for when you would make your appearance. I will never forget the day when you entered our lives. I may still wear my hair the same way, but you have changed by leaps and bounds!
Isaiah, you amaze me every day. Frmo the first time I laid eyes on you and held you in my arms a year ago, to the steps you are taking in our living room, you continue to be a source of joy in my life.
