This layout is for an album I'm making for my daughter's godmother. The photo shows my daughter wrapped in a quilt Beth made and sent over from America (we're in New Zealand) for her. The journalling is an email Beth sent me and reads:
'And because I suspected you so desperately wanted to add "Violet" to her name, I added some violet to her quilt, which I finished this weekend, and I did NOT add her initials yet - just in case. ;o) The quilt really is *lovely*, Elle. I used a heart block, which is so cute, and just about every shade of pink I saw. LOL! I also recycled two lovely flannel blankets I used for Lorelei when she was a baby - they were white with little pink flowers on them. I thought it would make a grand "from my family to yours" kinda thing - and they're so soft!!! I didn't use as much batting as I've used in the past, because it doesn't get as cold there as it does here. I just need to add the pink satin binding tonight. I'll send you digital pics if you want?'
