Good morning from here in Capranica! I am SO happy to finally be creating some layouts of my month-long stay in Italy, five years ago this month. Every time I look at these photos I am immediately transported back to the adventures of walking through many different villages (municipalities) and standing in AWE as I absorbed the BEAUTY and UNIQUENESS of each one. I have yet to put entirely into words all that I felt as I lived amongst a LOVELY village of people that hold SO dear the days of old. One of my favorite sites to view was while walking through a village in the early evening hours and watching the men gather in the street to talk amongst themselves or to gather together in the basement of one’s home for a friendly game of cards. Ahhhh … the simple life!
