I upgraded my Photoshop software to version 7 and was trying to learn a few techniques when my husband asked me how it was going. I told him I was trying to produce a picture where one element had color and everything else was black and white, like the greeting cards you sometimes see. Well he went off to pick up some groceries and when he came back he had brought me a single red rose, so I could create a "greeting card" picture. What a sweetheart! So we had some fun taking a few pictures and then I got the Photoshop layering figured out so that only the rose was red. After all of that I had to do a LO with one of the pictures. My husband is a dear, he is one of the most thoughtful people I know.

The design of this Lo was inspired by 2 artists at sb.com, Gabriellep has done the wonderful torn papers with the curled edges and lacing (this was fun!) and 2dogs always does the most beautiful LOs with sheet music or music pp. I chose music pp for the background behind the title. Thank you ladies for sharing your talents!
