OK This is not your typical Halloween LO!!! My daughter wanted to be a colonial girl, so...Mom made her costume. Hannah is waving to me in the top pic. The journaling note tells of Mom trying to sew her costume...a first for Mom. Well I did it!! In the LO is a couple of pieces of the lace I used on her dress, also tied in a bundle is the material I used for her dress below the lower picture. There is also the broach which broke previously...but at one time was holding her shawl so I put it into the LO. I went really girly on this one for me...I also used alot of techniques I've been seeing from other LO's The ripped/torn border and the doilie. Inspiration from many different great ladies went into this...The layering of embellies also is something I'm trying...So thank you to 2dogs, Catz, anderjackie and bettlou1 and any other greats out there I failed to name...I thank you for the inspiration!!! Took pic inside tonight so the pic is grainy...will take another pic tomorrow outside preferably to get a "BETTER" image!!!
