Every year I try a little harder to really focus on the true reason we celebrate Christmas. I want to my girls to know that Christmas is first and foremost, Jesus' birthday and secondly, it's a time for giving more than receiving.
I created this little wall hanging as a reminder. The little verse reads "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Price of Peace." Isiah 9:6. I'm going to hang this somewhere where I will walk past it everyday, so I will remember to rejoice, because our Savior is born!
