What a great layout to document an unforgettable event! I love that there are multiple photo's one one page! I am definitely saving this as a favorite!
I must have missed this one. This is gorgeous!!! Love everything about it!
Well.....the story is sad, but at least you got a new refrigerater in the deal!
Wow! Same thing happened to me but without the parties, or any drama except for me crying when I had to part with the money I had planned to use for landscaping. But I like the new one, water/ice in the door this time got us drinking a lot more water now. Except new one arrived dented and that created tons of drama that they didn't need to create. If they'd just given me the 10% off I when they told me it was dented I would have been happy enough. Great title!
OMG!! I can totally relate. The week of Christmas, our fridge went out, too. We have a large freezer in the garage, so we were able to preserve quite a bit of food, then ended up putting the rest in coolers in our garage. Thank goodness it was 25 degrees outside and not 75!! We finally got a new fridge, one week later (bad weather made it so they couldn't deliver our fridge). Our new fridge is a white Samsung french door with ice maker on the outside. LOVE it!! Glad to hear you didn't have to go long without your fridge.
I'm rolling on the floor laughing at the title. I love this. It's the little moments in life that I love seeing on scrapbook pages. Sorry about your fridge!
This is brilliant! Firstly I love the PMS idea!! and I also love it that you choose to scrap things about YOU! Its so interesting - and just as fun as always scrapping the family. You're an inspiration!
UGH!! what a pain!! This is so cool that you scrapped it though. I love the little tag with the price. I love that you scrapped a not so fun event. It is cool to have things like this to remember also, I think. You can look back and be thankful. I love the title..lol
What is it about appliances? They always pick the most inopportune moments to call it quits...as though they have no conscience at all!! I do LOVE the fact that you scrapped this and then the way you scrapped it! Your embellies remind me strangely of refrigerator magnets! Hmmm......
I KNOW I COMMENTED ON THIS BUT IT IS AWESOME, REALLY LOVE THIS LO AND ALL THE WRITING AND STICKERS , AND THE PAPER, I HAD TO COME BACK TO SAY RIGHT INTO MY FAVS!
Oh, wow, that really stinks! Hope you didn't lose any food... it's expensive, too! Great page to commemorate the (ahem) occasion - love that you included the price tag. Great new fridge, too - congrats!
That's one huge fridge!!! I'm sorry about your fridge, but I love how you took the experience and made a fabulous LO out of it ... that's true scrapping! I love the title and the play with the words, the pics are so funny (especially the saucages on ice ...) ... inspiring work my friend, I'm blown away (both by the LO and the price tag LOL)
What a neat Lo. I love that tag w/ the price on it. That's funny. I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh. I bet you were pissed, but I just love that you scrapped it. Great job.
Love how you turned a horrid ordeal into a light hearted LO... Fabulous!! Sorry you had to endure such pain..Been there done that!! Great stress reliever to have a PMS party!!!! Love the LO!!!
What a nightmare!!!! PMS..... I was wondering what that was.. Sounds fun & yummy too !!! Anyway, you created an awesome lo for the event !!! An original!!! Love the matting around the pic of the fridge & all the embellies, not to mention the Oh so clever title !!!!
OMG... when I first read your journaling I thought you said, "Jon bought 201 bags of ice." LOL! Cool LO (no pun intended!), but I'm sure it wasn't very fun at the time! :-)
Oh no, sorry about your fridge- but hey, on the bright side, it made for such a cute page!! LOL Love the title work, the pp's, and the design is just fantastic! Great work!
This is tooo cute!!! That new one looks beautiful!!! I love the pic with the wieners on the bag of ice.LOL I know you were upset. This is a funny layout I love it. XOXo
Well, my friend...you definitely know how to make lemonade out of lemons as they say!!!! You are my idol, dear friend....This is going in my faves. When you wrote me earlier about what happened, I thought "yikes, poor gal", but, this just really brings the reality into full view.....what a mess, but you're such a trooper and made a great keepsake out of it and sitll had a great weekend! Love the papers and the colors - the stunning framed appliance there...with the lovely floral arrangement...hoping in some way to soften the blow of that number on the tag, eh? Shawn, this whole lo is awesome....you go,girl! M
The night of my PMS Party, our 6 yr old fridge died! My dh bought several 20lb bags of ice, trying to keep things cold. On Sat we desperately shopped for a bottom-mount freezer, with no ice/water in the door, that could be delivered during the weekend. I used a B.Fleck page map for this LO. Inked, stitched, layered. I put the actual clear GE sticker, that came off the door, above the flower & button, on the right. PMS=pizza, munchies, scrapbook! TFL
