This beautiful picture of the sun setting was taken August 13, 2008 from my deck looking to the west.
I was awestruck and took 19 or 20 pictures with various highlights. I may have to scrap another one or two.
As I marveled at the beauty of it I felt the need to thank our Creator for giving us such beauty, and it made me think of the scripture that I quoted:
The heavens are declaring the glory of God. Psalm 19:119

This page is made with only 1 piece of cardstock. I took a sanding block and sanded some of the color off, revelaing a lighter distressing. I cut out behind the photo so I could have some paper to make the flowers.
All the doodling on the flowers and below them was done with a white gel pen. The letters are American Craft Thickers.
