This started out as a card for one of my friends for her 50th birthday. It kinda grew as we went along - Sarah was such a great help to me with cutting, inking, and suggestions! Anyway it took the both of us about three hours to get it finished! I started out by taking a piece of chipboard for the backing and attaching an easel to it. Then each layer was stapled to the backing, so that hopefully it won't fall apart if it's left standing up. PPs and embellies are K & Co. The lettering is "storybook" font on the cricut. I used a lot of assorted stamps on here too! The title was made by curling black wire around a small crochet hook handle, then inserting one end between the layers of the letters and the other was woven into the black piece behind the quote and anchored. That part was a little tricky! The little butterfly is also on a springy wire. Also, the small bow down towards the bottom has long ties on it. I punched a hole, put the ties through, punched another hole in the easel and tied it to hold it in place. (you really have to click on it and enlarge it to see all the details) TFL!!!!

The photos are Sarah with my friend Kit's two daughters, Katy and Kelsy - one back in 1999 and one made just a week ago Sunday. Hard to believe how fast the time goes by - they're all so grown up now!
