The flood of 08 left the Midwestern farmers with a small and delayed corn crop. Consequently we bought more corn on the cob this year than any previously, to try to help in the recovery. I was surprised when Alaina volunteered to shuck corn with me because it’s a little messy and she usually stays away from messy things. But she was a great helper and meticulously peeled each ear leaf down one at a time, then made sure all the silk was off as well.
Yum, tasty!
