I love, love, love this layout and the entire idea of it!!! Your journaling is great...everything is great!!! Thanks for the inspiration....this will be in my favorites for sure!
Wow! Love this layout!!! Love how you focused on inanimate (sp?) objects! I need to do several of these type layouts. Great job and I love that you recorded how she gave up her pacifier!
I totally saved this one. THe photo is amazing, and the story is so cute! My ds has a binky and it's going to be an issue when we take it...but this is really so cute...the pic, the story, and the design!
OMG! this is GREAT!!!! First off love how you did this, just taking pics of the items! My dd has to have 3 'binkys' also, I may have to try giving her something else in her hands...when she is ready (she is 1). Ds was pretty easy, but I now know how to scrap that event with no pics of him acutally doing it!
I love the colors in this and your journaling is sweet!
AWESOME lo!! adding to favs!!
Double WOW from me too! This caught my eye immediately, and oh my gosh I love your journaling, love the photo, love the papers choices.. everything is perfect. I can so remember the exact night my dd had to stop her paci... I SO wish I had perfect pictures as this to scrap her experience and ours that emotional night.. This is just PRECIOUS... and I know your dd will too some day.:)
WOW... this caught my eye at once! :d great photography, wonderful journaling, and fantastic lo! love the color scheme and paper choice! ;) love it! :) tfs!
My new favorite layout - inspired by a wonderfully talented scrapper on another site - Thank you!!!!!
The journaling is small & long! It reads: "When you were an infant, we put several “plugs” in your crib so that you could comfort yourself during the night. Over time, it evolved into just 3 - one in your mouth, and one in each hand. When the time came to think about moving toward no plugs, I thought the best way to start was to replace the ones in your hands. So we did that with Pooh and Piglet. From then on, you had to have Pooh, Piglet and Plug every night (causing many a search!). Meanwhile, your Plug began to show definite wear, and I explained to you that it was the last one, that when it was broken we would not get a new one. Not long after, you were in tears one night because the rubber portion was completely tattered and you wanted us to fix it. We explained that it couldn’t be fixed and after lots of tears (some from us too!) you decided to make the best of it. Then on the night of September 18th, (just 2 weeks after moving into your big girl bed) I asked if you wanted Pooh, Piglet and Plug and you said no, that you didn’t need them anymore. That was it - cold turkey. One more big step for my sweet (not so little) girl."
