I love making these - they literally take like ten minutes! Very cute gift, I made the holiday ones last year for my mom - she loves them (didn't burn them though, lol!!) you can burn them but just put a tag on it if you are giving it as a gift saying to remove any "embellishments" like the ribbons, etc. These are those "dripless" candles that burn right down the center, but of course as with any candle you should always keep an eye on it.
