I agree with RhondaRae, the cruise thing is too restrictive. Having traveled both ways, I think getting out and really experiencing the place and people is the best!

wonderful shot! I would take traveling around Europe any way I could.....actually I think I would prefer the bus ticket......I'm not big on cruises and I think you get a more realistic and interesting view from mingling with the people and treking around on your own any way. :O)

I have never taken an ocean cruise, not sure I want to be on the water that long----but I love this photo of you smiling in spite of being wet and having to ride on a ticketed bus!

I always find your mentions of cruise ships being too expensive, that is the cheapest vacation we can find here. (except staying at relatives houses and that is NOT an option) Sorry you got rained on. But even int he rain it is a lovely looking place.
